just the fact that are doing some sort of motion makes it better for you than other gaming.

wii sports is definitely the best, and they have this wii action board or something which you stand on and you can snowboard etc. sounds awesome to me

We got a Wii in July. I find I spend at least 4-8 hours a week playing Wii Sports. Baseball, Tennis, Boxing, Bowling all really tire me out. I usually finish up with some golf. I know that when I’m done I am usually sweating and tired. Not as good of a workout as actual aerobics or weight lifting, but so much better than sitting and watching TV.

Any Wii game that will actually require you to stand and move is a good one to help you be more active. Soul Caliber legends is good too. You use both arms, swinging them around. If you buy the classic game style controller, you’ve just killed the exercise benefit. Use the unique element of the Wii and play games that force you to move your body, not just your thumbs.

For a real exercise program, get Wii Fit.

Because the game requires you to get up and move your body while playing is a very good way to sweat your fats out. But nothing beats the real thing like jogging at the park, doing yoga or any outdoor exercise because aside from getting in shape you also get the benefits of getting vitamins from the sun’s rays. Playing with Wii games though is a good alternative for having both leisure fitness. Sports games are good for those who want to get fit.
